We are pleased to announce a new partnership with PolicyMap, an online mapping and data platform that makes complex data accessible for research, teaching, and community impact.
With more than 75,000 indicators from trusted public and proprietary sources, PolicyMap enables faculty, students, and library users to visualize local and national trends in health, housing, demographics, education, and the economy.
Through this partnership, VALE member institutions can explore opportunities to integrate PolicyMap into their research and instruction. The platform allows users to:
- Create custom maps and visualize data without requiring GIS expertise
- Download datasets for research or classroom analysis
- Generate reports that support curriculum development, grant writing, and community engagement
PolicyMap is designed to support a wide range of disciplines, including public health, social work, business, education, and urban planning—helping students and researchers turn data into actionable insights.
