Power Cost Savings and Collaboration with Open Access Learning Materials 

Open educational resources (OER) are learning materials that people can freely access and use. When educators use OER instead of traditional textbooks, they can significantly reduce students’ financial burden while enhancing student achievement and success.

As institutions intensify their commitment to developing and supporting OER, Pressbooks can play a pivotal role in this work by making it easy to adapt, publish, and distribute open materials.

To provide an overview of what Pressbooks makes possible, we will be holding an informational workshop for VALE members on January 7th at 10am ET.
