The Human Relations Area Files (HRAF) at Yale University is internationally recognized as the provider of the world’s largest anthropological database. HRAF is a membership supported nonprofit organization affiliated with Yale that provides scholarly resources for research, teaching, and learning.

HRAF’s two main databases, eHRAF World Cultures and eHRAF Archaeology, contain a vast amount of ethnographic and archaeological data, meticulously indexed and curated by anthropologists.
