DESCRIPTION:LibraryLinkNJ and VALE are proud to announce our upcoming Book Mending Workshop\, an in-person workshop designed to provide a look at the basics of book mending! \nBook Mending Workshop\nFriday\, May 2nd\n10am-12pm\nGeorgian Court University \nJoin us for this in-person workshop on book mending techniques that will demonstrate basic book repair including page tipping\, page repair\, corner(s)\, spine repair/replacement\, cover(s)\, hinge(s)\, and more. \nNew Jersey librarian Stephanie Sussmeier of Stockton University will walk us through the above\, as well as discuss book repair products\, everyday items that can be used for book repair that are also budget friendly\, what product is best for type of book (hardback vs. paperback)\, cover the pros and cons of book treatments\, and review the general lifespan of certain book repair treatments. \nRegistration is free of charge but limited to 30 participants.
